At Hope Haven Care, we strive to give our Young People the best opportunities possible to become successful and confident adults.
We work with professional counsellors/psychotherapists who are fully qualified and registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). This means they meet established professional standards and operate within a professional code of conduct.
Our approaches are largely integrative, using the Cognitive Behaviour Approaches (CBT), Person-Centred Model or Music Therapy, depending on the individual needs of the Young Person. The purpose of this is to help the Young Person feel more positive about themselves and help develop healthy meaningful relationships to lead a life of their choosing.
Our home in the West Midlands has access to professional counsellors/psychotherapists who work with our Young People in a non-judgemental and empathy driven manner along with unreserved positivity.
The aim is to develop a therapeutic and trusting relationship with the counsellor, which ensures value and empowerment to the Young Person, so they are able to make decisions themselves, feel positive about themselves, accept and understand their own and others’ feelings and develop healthy and fulfilling relationships to lead a life of their choose.
We work closely with our Young People to understand their needs to develop and administer their bespoke Care Plans. We provide the appropriate support and continuous assessment of individual needs by working closely with other professionals.
We are committed to nurture and development of our Young People so that they experience life in the best possible way and encourage them to be the best they can be.
Our purpose is to aid the development and well-being of vulnerable children and Young Adults throughout their journey of life.
